Originally from New Zealand, Jasmine Scott currently lives and works in St Augustine, Florida USA. She studied at the prestigious National Art School, Sydney, Australia where she was awarded the Medal for highest academic achievement. Post graduate studies followed. Scott is versed in many artistic principles and practices. While talented in the fields of drawing, painting and sculpture, she has excelled within the highly disciplined practice of Printmaking. Over the years Scott has moved from a dark figurative oeuvre to more vibrantly colored abstracts, which have further evolved into the dynamic whimsical rings that are delighting us today. Scott has exhibited and won numerous awards throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United States.

Inspiration for this collection is derived from a love for candy and all things retro and fun. Minimalist and playful, these rings have a universal appeal. Each piece is unique with a high focus on individuality and style. Scott desired to create beautiful objects from the non traditional and banal industrial product of liquid polyester resin. Through meticulous workings, the rings capture a vibrancy of light with their luxurious and resilient colors. From the striking to the subtle, Scott has managed to create a marriage of modern design and artistic expression with impressive savoir faire.
